Since most commercial electronics manufacturers are now using LEDs as an efficient lighting source, it's now much easier to power these devices
by harvesting electricity in our environments or through those actions we effortlessly already do.This low power exit sign was recycled at a green
building supplies store and was later installed so that its LEDs are powered by a small solar panel mounted on the outside. The recent increase in
DC powered and re-chargeable battery operated electronic devices, offers a great opportunity to interface them with solar panels or other energy
harvesting technologies to participate in making a difference for our environment. It's always an important goal of mine to offer as many ways as
possible to power up my devices and rechearge their batteries.
